Privacy

Private rooms, minimal data.

What the game stores

Two by Two stores the information needed to run a room: display names, custom axis labels, placements, round results, and awards. It does not require an account.

How rooms are accessed

Rooms use an invite link or six-character code. Each player also receives a private session credential stored in that browser. Treat room links as private and share them only with the people you want to invite.

How long data remains

Room data expires 30 days after the room is created and is then removed by an automated cleanup. Two by Two is designed for temporary party games, not permanent profiles or archives.

Service providers

The site is hosted by Vercel and uses Convex for realtime room data. Those providers may process ordinary technical information needed to operate and secure the service. Two by Two does not sell player data or use it for advertising.

Your choices

You can avoid providing identifying information by using a nickname. Clearing this site's browser storage removes locally remembered names and room credentials from that device.
